Celebrating Saudi Founding Day at KAI

In a joyful celebration of Saudi heritage and unity, the Algosaibi Group recently marked Saudi Founding Day by transforming its headquarters garden into a lively cultural zone. This special event brought together all employees in a festive atmosphere, showcasing the rich traditions of Saudi Arabia through various traditional activities and competitions. 

On February 25, 2024, the Algosaibi Group’s headquarters garden was beautifully decorated with elements representing Saudi culture. The space buzzed with activities like pottery making and crafting "khous" (items made from palm leaves), encouraging creativity among employees. A henna station allowed attendees to experience first hand a part of their heritage. 

The scent of freshly baked hasawi bread filled the air, blending with the sounds of traditional Saudi music. Live performances by a Saudi music group and traditional dances added to the festive energy, making it an unforgettable experience for everyone. 

One of the day’s highlights was a series of heritage competitions, eagerly embraced by employees. The contests included Best Saudi Women's Traditional Dress, Best Saudi Men's Traditional Dress, and Best Saudi Dish, which displayed the beauty of traditional attire and Saudi cuisine. 

• Mastoura Al-Zahrani wowed everyone with her elegant Janoubi Dress, winning the Best Saudi Women's Traditional Dress category. 
• Abdulrahman Al-Tammar impressed with his authentic Hasawi Dress, securing the Best Saudi Men's Traditional Dress award. 
• In the food category, Alhanoof Al-Mingash’s flavorful Margoog dish took the top prize, showcasing the rich flavors of Saudi cooking. 

This event was more than just a day of fun and friendly competition. It gave employees a chance to connect with their culture and with each other on a personal level. The celebration also highlighted the Algosaibi Group’s dedication to honoring important cultural events while fostering a blend of tradition and modernity.
